Step 4: Schedule a Tour

You schedule a property tour by calling or sending an e-mail. Your agent will meet you at the first scheduled appointment. Most sellers ask for a few hours advance notice, so be sure to schedule your tour in advanced.

It is important to limit the number of homes you tour in any given day. If you visit more than four or five homes, they begin to run together and you may have a hard time remembering one from another.

While we are looking at homes, communication is crucial. It is important to let us know which properties you like and why you like them. Also, if you visit any open houses on your own, be sure to give the agent one of our business cards and tell them you are under agreement to work with us.

You may schedule and enjoy your first property tour without committing to work with one of our expert licenced agents. This will give you a chance to get to know an agent and determine if would like to continue a working relationship.

On your second property tour, we ask that you verbally commit to using this agent.
