Step 6: Settlement

Settlement is the date that all of the contingentcie have been satisfied. Also, the financing paperwork is ready for your approval. We will meet at a title company and review and sign a few documents. The property is yours after your loan funds and your name is recorded as the legal owner of the property. This is called "closing", and usually takes place the day after settlement.
